What to Look For
So what makes a business a good candidate for franchising? What do you look for? Think about the experience you had at a local business and ask yourself these questions:
- Do they offer a unique service or product that separates them from everyone else?
- Is it a destination place, meaning that people drive out of their way to go there?
- Have they been around for at least six months, with growing demand?
- Is your experience of their service or product a positive one?
- Do they seem to have good systems in place?
- Do you find yourself telling other people about how great they are?
- Do you wish that they had more locations?
